Pesto Parodi is the real “Genoese Pesto”
because it is made using only the ingredients in the traditional old Genoese recipe. In this way, a typical product is obtained, faithful to local traditions, like that made in the homes of the Genoese people, using only the seven ingredients as in the traditional recipe:
1) basil grown locally, basil from Prà, protected by D.O.P. Genoese Basil;
2) Extra Virgin olive oil, with its sweet, delicate and slightly fruity flavour;
3) exquisite garlic from Vessalico;
4) tasty Italian pine nuts;
5) parmesan cheese
6)Sardinian sheep’s milk cheese, each with the correct maturity;
7) the right amount of Italian sea salt.
