The Pesto Classic Recipe Old Style  is a harmonious fusion of the 7 ingredients of the traditional recipe; with a pleasant taste of garlic and Sardinian sheep’s milk cheese (Pecorino Sardo) . A delicate and characteristic flavour with just enough of a taste of garlic. It gets the agreement of all pesto lovers.

 

The Pesto Classic Recipe Delicate is more delicate because contains less Pecorino Sardo.

 

 

The Pesto Garlic-Free Recipe Delicate is like Classic Recipe Delicate but without Garlic.

 

 

Pesto Parodi is made only with the 7 ingredients of the traditional recipe.

We choose those most suitable for making Genoese Pesto, those of the highest quality available on the market in order to obtain a characteristic, high-quality product.


- Basil from Genoa, considered to be the best basil for genoese pesto
- Ligurian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Parmesan Cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, “matured for 24 months
- Mature Sardinian sheep's milk cheese (Pecorino Sardo DOP)
- Top-quality pine nuts from Pisa, the best
- Garlic from Vessalico, slowfood presidio, easily digestible and with a delicate flavour
- Italian salt


Our mission consists of producing high-quality characteristic Genoese Pesto. Therefore we use only the best ingredients which allow us to guarantee those conditions to our customers. We don't use any low-cost alternatives to the detriment of the character and quality of the Genoese Pesto; like for example the use of cheese or oil of a lower quality or the substitution of the Sardinian sheep's milk cheese with a different, cheaper sheep's milk cheese, or the use of lower-quality or chinese pine nuts or peanuts. Meausres which allow a significant reduction in the cost but which result in a product very different from the real Genoese Pesto.



Finally, for those who don't know, it is worth highlighting that Genoese Pesto is the only sauce in the world which is made using four products with DOP status (Genoese Basil, Ligurian Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Parmigiano Reggiano, Pecorino Sardo)."
